Bridgeman Agencies – KSHS Agricultural Upgrades
In the first half of 2024, SB Hire and Sales was engaged after Bridgeman Agencies was entrusted with a significant project at Kingaroy State High School, focusing on upgrading the Agricultural Department facilities.
The project involved a comprehensive overhaul of outdated infrastructure, which included demolishing an old asbestos-laden building and constructing modern, state-of-the-art facilities for the school’s agricultural programs.
Our team at SB Hire and Sales provided essential hire equipment and services to ensure the smooth progression of this upgrade.
SB Hire and Sales is proud to have played a central role in this vital educational infrastructure project, demonstrating our expertise in temporary construction solutions.
1. Temporary Site Offices & Lunchrooms:
To accommodate the site workforce and project managers SB Hire and Sales provided for Bridgeman Agencies, high-quality, fully equipped temporary site offices and lunchrooms. These facilities ensured that all personnel had a comfortable and safe environment to work and take breaks. The site offices also served as the central hub for project management, where coordination, planning, and meetings were carried out.
2. First Aid Building & Toilet Facilities:
SB Hire and Sales provided Bridgeman Agencies essential first aid and toilet facilities on site. The inclusion of a dedicated first aid building ensured that immediate medical attention could be provided if necessary, aligning with our commitment to worker safety. Temporary toilet facilities were strategically placed to provide easy access for the crew and maintain hygiene standards.
3. Storage Container:
To keep the site organized and secure, SB Hire and Sales provided storage containers for the safe keeping of tools, materials, and equipment.
These containers ensured that valuable assets were protected from the elements and potential theft, allowing the construction teams to access their equipment with ease.
4. Temporary Construction Fencing – A Record-Breaking 700m:
One of the most significant contributions to the project was the provision of a massive 700 meters of temporary construction fencing, 450m of which was covered with screening or branded mesh, which requires additional wind bracing.
This fencing ensured the security of the site during demolition and construction and marked our largest fencing job to date. It played a crucial role in protecting both the site workforce and the surrounding community from potential hazards, especially during the asbestos demolition process.
Our client’s commitment to safety ensured that all necessary precautions were taken, mitigating potential risks.
Site Monitoring Cameras were also crucial in maintaining worker safety and critical in theft prevention.
